The Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act was introduced in India in 2013 to protect women in the workplace from sexual harassment. While the law includes only women, companies have the right to make this an all gender inclusive policy.

The act mandates that all employers with 10 or more employees must establish an Internal Committee (IC) to handle complaints of sexual harassment. The Act also requires that employers provide a safe and harassment- free workplace for their employees and mandates awareness trainings for the same.
